What’s a large group meeting, you ask? Large group meetings can be for a group of employees, or employee and stakeholders combined, or people from several organizations who have a shared purpose or are working towards a shared goal.
How can you conduct conversations in large groups of 50, 100, or 200+ people, while engendering cross-fertilization across teams, units, stakeholders, organizations?
That’s where the large group methods come in. They are designed to enable that cross-fertilization, and to get people talking in small groups to maximize their participation. What’s more, they’re fun to design! And they can generate individual change and/or transform organizational culture over time.
Come join two master facilitators in the art of large group meeting facilitation as they lead you through an experience of two delightful methods – World Café and Open Space Technology. In Open Space, the topics of discussion are generated by the participants, and you choose which topic is of interest to you. In World Café there is a sequential series of 3-4 questions on a specific topic, which the group will identify. People rotate from table to table as they respond to each question in turn.
