Details
Often times as facilitators we are asked to help move a group forward after a stalled project or an issue has come up that is impeding a groups progress.  The challenge in facilitating those sessions is keeping it from becoming a blame or complaining session.  Some want to jump right to solutions while others want to reflect on what is causing the issue in the first place.  The tool that is used in the “How to move from issues to actions” is a designed to gather input from all by asking questions that intentionally focus and guide a group to identify the “issues” or barriers and to collectively identify what actions can start to move the group. Understanding that there might be several issues and many actions, the process will have the group think strategically on where they should start and establish accountability for the implementation.
