“Hey Team™” teaches people how to make small observations to improve the team's culture. It is based on Inspired Teams™ framework, which is a framework of values that creates outstanding teams, as evidenced by the research.
Most work with teams either focuses on the leader or on skill building. Although team culture is also recognized as important, there is not a well-researched and comprehensive framework to guide attention. Culture is built in every interaction. The leader, certainly, has an outsized influence on the culture but it is everyone’s job to build the culture. When team members understand how to take responsibility for the culture, they no longer have to sit in silence and suffer in bad teams; they can make a difference. Step by step they can nudge their team’s culture to be joyful and fulfilling.
The “Hey Team™” method was designed around two fundamental building blocks. First, it uses the Inspired Teams™ framework, which is a framework of values that creates outstanding teams, as evidenced by the research. Second, it is based on the fact that humans change in small steps.
