Each day we are faced with countless opportunities that give us choice around how we engage, how we listen, and how we respond - and most of these decision points involve some level of courage. Are you grabbing as many of these opportunities as you would like each day?
COURAGE IN LEADERSHIP
Presenter: Chris Olex Virtual program
The topic of courage is so pertinent today, especially for leaders in our world. Courage can look different to different people. While jumping out of a plane represents courage to some, a heartfelt discussion about sex with your teenager might hold the same ‘catch your breath’ moment, while talking to your boss about how much you deserve that raise is stressful for another.
Leaders face big AND small moments to step into courage all the time. How do I give that struggling team member more hard feedback? How do highlight the inequities that my department (or organization) is perpetuating? How do I ask an enthusiastic team member to listen more and talk less in our team meetings?
