Liberating structures are a fun way to engage everyone in problem solving or shaping the future, for example, defining the culture we want or defining a team's purpose.  In this virtual interactive workshop, we’ll explore meeting tools that build inclusive group conversations.  You will consider your current work, select a tool to apply in your context, and create a plan for action.

Examples of Liberating Structures:

  • Generating open conversation: 1-2-4-all
  • Identifying what drives success: Appreciative interviews
  • Debriefing shared experiences: What, So What, Now What?
  • How to generate practical and imaginative help from colleagues: Troika Consulting

Presenter Bios: Atomic Facilitators, Julie Palazini & Colleen Wheeler founded idea4action to help groups and individuals create space for focused reflection and learning. One way they do this is by designing meeting structures that support people in having the same conversation at the same time. Small well-designed moments have the power to create connection, deep appreciation, and laughter.

idea4action coaches individuals and teams in applying practical tools and techniques that lead to better outcomes and happier people. Whether your team is virtual, hybrid, or in-person, you can learn how to: create conversations that build momentum and trust, build capacity for collaboration and/or generate options and choose solutions.
